backup status

I am using TS3100 tape library and 4 protected servers. all backups are going smoothly i take backup mannually

my boss wants me to email the the backup status report to make him sure that the backup has been done sucessfully on tape?

what is the simpliest way i need a brief and user freindly information that i can attach with email and send to him.

for example the Node Name, contents that backed up , time ,date ,full or inc backup, name of volume etc... thats it i need to send him such information
