Exclude folders with certain names
Hi everyone,
I want to exclude folders, that are named xyz.ft. These folders contain full text index information of Lotus Domino databases.
Would an entry in the dsm.opt like "exclude.dir *.ft" do the trick?
Thanks in advance.
Regards Mana

Yes this will work. I tested your statement on my system and it worked as you would expect.

Hi onealsteel,
thanks for your answer. Just to be sure, do it have to place that statement at the end of the dsm.opt file? I'm not very familiar with editing that file, sorry.

You can put it anywhere in the file. Exclude.dir is evaluated before any of the include statements. It is evaluated before any other exclude/include statements.
