TSM Server 5.5 for Linux running on Fedora9
Has anyone had success loading the TSM server 5.5 on a Fedora9 box? This box I have it loaded on is not production but I wanted to have it function to back up my home network and also for development and testing shell scripts. It seems to load fine and start up fine but the recovery log remains pinned and does not commit transactions. The logmode is normal and a 'show logpinned' show nothing unusual. I had this running on Fedora8 in Dec07 but now it does not work. At the very least if someone can confirm certain kernel levels that are good, that would be appreciated. The only other difference with the current environment is that I am using LVM for the disk.
Thanks
Andy
