Backup size much too big

Hello all

I have a NetBackup client with app. 8 GB data that when backed up creates a backup of a little over 240 GB data. The job doesn't err. Could you please give me some pointers to what is wrong please.

Client:
Windows 2003 Server with NetBackup Client 6.0 MP7
Server:
Windows 2003 Server with NetBackup Enterprise Server 6.0 MP6

Hi,

One way would to be enable to the logging on bpbkar and chnage the verbose level to level 5 and check if the backup size is actually 240 Gb,or create a new backup policy and rerun the backup of 8 Gb and check if the issue is still occuring.
