How do I disable VSS and System backups in TSM
I am having issues with the VSS and system state backups on some of my TSM clients. How can i disable those componets and setup Windows to dump to disk and backup that information with the incremental backups?

I don't think you can, if I remember correctly TSM needs the VSS service running for backups.
But, I could be wrong.... Where is that Moon guy when you need him.

Hi Brockly71,
On the client GUI...select "Edit"..."Preferences"...then choose the "Backup" tab...click on the highlighted "systemstate" on the "Domain list'. Choose apply...and then Ok. Restart the scheduler & Tsm service.
