Restoring old backupsets with librarymanager
For a couple of months we are working with a cross site TSM implementation, including two librarymanagers. Thing is, we still have backupsets (monthly backups) from one machine in our serverpark. When we want to restore from the backupset, the tape will not load in the librarymanager, and also the documentation I found was saying it cant be done.
Are there more out there with the same problem, and if so, did you find a workaround?
TIA

Hi
Try to run on library manager: CHECKIN LIBVOLUME with parametr OWNer and then define backupset on library client.
Of cause you can define backupset only if it expaired from TSM.
