    Has anyone done a Solaris 10 client BMR? If so, please point me to the relevalent info..

    Honestly, having a Jump Start environment is the more positive way to go.

    However, for the one-offs, what I do is load a minimum OS on the DR server, load the TSM client and do the required restores. Just remember to have the bare install at the same OS release level of the Production server.

    I use cristie bmr for mah solaris 10's... it's backup your solaris to tsm and you can recover it from tapes
    destruction is not negative! you must destroy to build...

    Storix has a TSM integrated DR/BMR solution and just added Solaris support (both 9 and 10, sparc and x86). It really is a one-step process and good for migration to different hardware configs too.
