GPFS backup issue
Hello all,
I have GPFS backup issue as follows,
An incremental backup cannot be performed because the most recent backup did not complete successfully.
doFSIncrementalBackup() returned rc = 2
tsbackup: incremental backup failed, rc = 2
mmbackup: Command failed. Examine previous error messages to determine cause.
This error comes when i tried to run MMBACKUP with increment or FULL backup.
Anybody has idea about this?
Thanks in advance.

hi,
assuming you're running the command with the option "subdir=yes", it seems you should use "subdir=no", as ibm states in the following link:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...ss=ct663tivoli
hope this helps

Hello,
I checked but we are not using SUBDIR option in DSM file.
the errors are like,
Nod name: TSM dsmc expire command failed to run.
Process 0 on client nod name failed in processing its list of files.
Thanks in advance,
