The cluster is under WINDOWS platform

First configure the TSM cluster. See references.

Then configure a DB2 cluster resource that has failover characteristics. This resource calls the DB2 backup which is normally through a batch file which is similar to what TDP for SQL does.

To configure TSM for Windows Clusters see:

Open the section: Storage Manager for Windows, then Administrator's Guide, then go to Appendix B - Configuring and Managing Clusters.

Once you have configured TSM for Windows Clusters, define the DB2 resource that will back up DB2 that resides on your shared drives or resources.

I hope you are a good Windows Systems Admin as this requires a good understanding of Windows Clusters.

There are great scenarios but no one take care of them like that complex layout of ma7moudshaf3y ...
Wish to share that case to know from each other what could be useful for all of us.

I should first setup my ISC+AC+TSM_SVR on my my tsm machine

then...

install tsm baclient with api from cusom installation on both db2 machines

then

assigne a same node name for both machines on tsm svr

and complete the db2 configuration normally like sys. env. and user exit and enc. passwd....etc....

then you will have your right bachup conf.
