Maybe full memory usage, like under Aix with the Ulimit parameter. (ulimit -m unlimited).

It could be helpfull if bufpoolsize is set to 1Go by exemple.

Thanks. I did increase my bufpoolsize as my server was 'trashing'. Seems to have helped since it has not 'trashed' since...

    A ulimit -a shows this:

core file size (blocks, -c) 0
data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
    file size (blocks, -f) unlimited
    pending signals (-i) 1024
max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 32
max memory size (kbytes, -m) unlimited
    open files (-n) 1024
    pipe size (512 bytes, -p) 8
POSIX message queues (bytes, -q) 819200
    stack size (kbytes, -s) 10240
    cpu time (seconds, -t) unlimited
    max user processes (-u) 98304
    virtual memory (kbytes, -v) unlimited
    file locks (-x) unlimited

Any improvement to be made there?

    Thanks.

No, i think it's ok for RH part.

BTW, u should have a look to the "TSM Tunning Guide" provided by IBM.

    Good Luck.
