If so, you may want to check the size of the server log file, and dbspace. Schedule will fail if they are full. -

TSM doesn't care on what the data are being backed up on. That's the good point about TSM. It just keeps a DB of metadata, and stocks data somewhere you told him to.

The update removed the serial and elem from the Q drive f=d command.
Did the "audit libr SL24" cmd but it did nothing. The actlog says it started and finished (at the exact same time) successfully.... -

TSM doesn't label tapes
I just installed and configured a new TSM6.1 server using RHEL5 and a SL24 scsi library.
The installation and configuration of TSM went smooth. Autoconf detects both drives and the library fine....
