also enable the "change block tracking" in oracle, to avoid full scan to search for changed block.
You can restore to any point in time with "Data Protector for MySQL using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager".
It uses the mysql bin-logs to rollforward to the given point in time.

Data Protector for MySQL using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager is very fast as all data is sent directly to / from TSM.
I have never seen a good reduction of SQL Server data with TDP for Databases on SQL Server.
It varies around 20% reduction with TSM Server deduplication.
I have not tested client deduplication...
Or you can try the allready existing TDP (Data Protector for MySQL) from repostor.
There is a TDP for Sybase.
