It should be L180 emulation from DD side. so for changer you need to use TSM device drivers.
You can follow the steps given below to detect it on AIX.....

How long do you retain your DB Backups?
You may keep old ones on LTO3 and let them expire on its own - start taking new TSM DB backup on new library/drive.

I am not aware of any such certification - where did you get this info from?

You may try disabling de-dup(do not run identify process).
I do not remember exactly - may be this helped me till I patched my server.
upgdare or patch the TSM sever
If you must migrate to P6-520........
Not sure if this approach suits your environment.
You can 'freeze' backups on current server/library and redirect them to new server/library.

I faced a problem recently. Serialization was set to dynamic.
After restoration we found out that one of the dbf files size was not what was...
Yes...it does look good.
It is also written that it has source side data de-duplication....
I think you will have to schedule the command "dsmc backup systemstate" if you want to backup systemstate.
Thanks for the information ...
Sorry, I am still not able to understand this totally.....
For Example: In my paper, If I have

I have used de-dup in my environment for 4-5 TB of data.

Select from individual table works fine for me.
However select from two or more tables displays nothing.
For example :
select * from drives and

BBB is right.
Naugrim, I have not tested your scripts, however you can give extra '/' at the end or/and '-subdir=yes'.
(example: dsmc archive /fs1/ /fs2/ /fs3/ -subdir=yes)

As far as I remember, I have seen lan-free restore from copypools.
Hope you have already verified lan-free settings, paths etc.
I am running TSM Server 18.104.22.168 on AIX 5.3 with FILE volumes and De-Dup is active.
Running Identify process daily for some duration.
Since last couple of days my expiration is hanging.
Policyset can be considered active, not management class.
In you case, there are 2 mgmtclasses under active policyset for AIX policydomain
AIX ACTIVE DAILY Yes
AIX ACTIVE ARCH2WKS No
In my TSM 22.214.171.124, I can see it.

What is the version of your TSM Server?
You can increase the NUM_LOG_SPAN using db2 command.
I would say upgrade TSM Server to...
From TSM 6.1, server directory is changed to /opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin.
Also there is no "dsmfmt" under this.
You can not define database or log volumes as it is taken care by DB2.
Not sure how permission works for the Windows and if you have already checked this out...(this is for unix)
1) Just removing node from backup schedule will not delete any data from TSM storage.
2) You might want to create a different storage pool and then move the data to this pool's tapes. Let the...
