Yes true, so you reckon WAN is the way forward . can't get my head around it as how TSM server will recognise VTL using ethernet, does that mean will some kind of Network drivers for the VTL?

sorry the VTL is an HP VLS 6000 model which is actaullay have a FC and ethernet connector so I guess I have to check if I can do a WAN link as SAN is not an option over...
