Nevermind...I found a much better solution through the backup/restore client GUI.
Grant delete backup authority to the node.
Enter the delete backup screen, searching the directory, filtering...

As I said, the last modified date is the same, so a point in time restoration sees the corrupted version of the file as the active one for that date.
I'd want to restore the DB to current after...

Ah..I bet I could take another approach with more success, then. Back up the current TSM database, then restore the DB to the 11/8 version, then perform the full directory restore of active files,...

Cryptolocker behavior - encrypts file without changing modified date...for all intents, file is corrupted and inaccessable.
TSM behavior - backs up encrypted file, marks it as active...
