Is there any way to use -pick without making it interactive? IE: if i just want the most recent file, that file is always #1 in the pick list, so can i just specify "restore pick 1" ?

Nope, but my goal is to get a list of archived files, and pull those archived files down to be migrated to another tsm server, I don't believe followsymbolic=yes or no will be meaningful in this...

but thruout time the actual location of archiveDir has changed, and...
